CRM with text messaging
CoreCNX is a CRM (a shared database of your contacts and your history with them). Texts are sent through CampaignCNX+, the CNX Suite's texting product, and each text, reply and opt-out is added to the contact's timeline in CoreCNX. CoreCNX does not send texts itself, so the two products work together: CampaignCNX+ sends, and CoreCNX keeps the record.
/A, Two products, one record
CampaignCNX+ sends mass texts to groups, scheduled messages, drip sequences (texts sent on a schedule) and one-to-one conversations from a shared inbox your team works together. It handles opt-out replies such as STOP.
CoreCNX keeps one record per person. Each event CampaignCNX+ reports is added to that person's timeline, beside door results from Beacon, website chat leads from Alma, email activity and your team's notes. Each line is marked with the product that recorded it, and the timeline can be filtered by source.
A made-up contact. Each line uses the wording the CoreCNX timeline gives that kind of event.
What is recorded
When your CampaignCNX+ account is connected to your CoreCNX account, it reports these events. Each one is added to the timeline of the person with that phone number.
Try CoreCNX with your own contact list. The free trial lasts 14 days, for up to 5,000 contacts.
/B, Matching
CampaignCNX+ identifies each person by phone number. CoreCNX looks for a contact with that number, written in any common format, so (312) 555-0142 and +1 312 555 0142 are treated as the same number. If no contact has the number, CoreCNX creates one with it, and a later event from another product that carries the same number can fill in the name or email address. The same event sent twice is recorded once.
For the best results, import your list into CoreCNX with phone numbers before you start texting. Each reply then lands on the record you already have, with its door results and notes, instead of on a new record that holds only a number.
Day to day
To text a group of people you keep in CoreCNX, filter your contacts by tag or pipeline stage (a board of stages you name), export them as a CSV file, and import the file into a group in CampaignCNX+. Then send to that group from CampaignCNX+. Include only people who have agreed to receive texts from you.
Opt-outs are handled where the texts are sent. When someone replies STOP, CampaignCNX+ stops texting that number and reports the opt-out to CoreCNX, where it is recorded as the person's text consent with the date. An unsubscribe from an email you send in CoreCNX updates the person's email consent. If someone asks you in person or by phone to stop texting them, mark them as opted out in CampaignCNX+, because that is where texts are sent from.
Before you text anyone, make sure they agreed to receive texts, and keep the date and source of that agreement on their record. A signature on a petition or a name on a sign-in sheet is not permission to text unless the sheet said so plainly and was dated.
Cost and setup
CoreCNX plans start at $49 a month for 5,000 contacts and 5 users, and every paid plan receives activity from CampaignCNX+, Beacon and Alma. There is no per-user fee. See the CoreCNX pricing page for every plan.
CampaignCNX+ is priced separately: 100 free SMS included. Your number is $5 a month. After that you pay as you go at $0.06 per SMS, or choose a monthly plan from $55. The CampaignCNX+ pricing page lists every plan.
You can buy the two products separately, or together with Beacon and Alma as the CNX Suite on one bill. Each product has its own login. When you buy CampaignCNX+ with the suite through CoreCNX, it is connected to your CoreCNX account for you. If you already have a CampaignCNX+ account, contact us and we will connect it.
Questions
No. Texts are sent through CampaignCNX+, the texting product in the CNX Suite. CoreCNX keeps the record: each text sent, each reply and each opt-out is added to the contact's timeline in CoreCNX.
Texts sent from a mass text, a drip sequence, a scheduled message or the shared inbox; whether each was delivered; replies; opt-outs and opt-ins; keyword replies; and tags, groups, imports and number checks made in CampaignCNX+. CoreCNX records that each text and reply happened, and when; the words stay in CampaignCNX+. Lines recorded before October 17, 2026 can still show the start of the message.
By phone number. CoreCNX matches the number in any common format. If no contact has that number, CoreCNX creates one, so import your list with phone numbers before you start texting.
